The first launch in November 1996 was by YB Datuk Dr. James Masing, the Sarawak Minister Of Tourism at the Holiday Inn, Kuching.* The second and most prestigious launch yet was graced by the Right Honorable Datuk Seri Najib, Malaysia’s Minister Of Education on 7th April 1997 at the University Malaysia Sarawak(UNIMAS).* It is because Sarawak Software is capable of incorporating into all our kiosk applications, state of the art video compression to show video clips or commercials of any length as well as digital sound-high quality digital music, sound tracks to commercials and verbal instructions in any language in the world with unmatched performance, that we were selected to produce information kiosks. For the future Sarawak Software plans to place interactive kiosks in the main hotels in Kuching as well as other high traffic areas such as shopping centres. |
